The second day of the Gator Fall Classic has concluded and the Duke Women's Tennis team continued its struggles on Saturday in Gainesville, Fla. The final day of play with be on Sunday with the Blue Devils taking on Miami in doubles and South Florida in singles action.
The Duke women's tennis team began fall play at the Gator Fall Classic in Gainesville, Fla., on Friday as the Blue Devils lost five of six singles matches vs. host Florida and two of three doubles matches vs. South Florida in the "hidden dual" style tournament.
The Duke women's tennis team begins its fall slate this weekend, as the Blue Devils travel to Gainesville, Fla., for the Gator Fall Classic. The three-day event features Duke, Miami (Fla.), South Florida and host, Florida, and runs from Friday, Sept. 15 through Sunday, Sept. 17.
Duke rising sophomore Melissa Mang is set to compete at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) National Summer Championships as the No. 1 seed in the women’s bracket, with action opening this Saturday, Aug. 12 and running through Aug. 16.
