2015: Capped his first season at Duke with All-America honors after placing fifth in men’s saber with a 16-7 record and a +23 touch differential at the NCAA Fencing Championships … his fifth-place performance was the second-highest finish by a freshman in Duke men’s fencing history, trailing only Duke Athletics Hall of Fame member Matt Andresen’s fourth-place finish in 1989 … it was also the highest placing by any Duke freshman since women’s saber Becca Ward won the national title in 2009 … finished seventh at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic/South Regional … captured the bronze medal at the ACC Championships with a 12-3 record in pool play and a 15-11 victory in the third-place bout … logged a 35-13 record during the regular season … had a winning record at each of the four meets he competed … notched a season-best 11 wins to just four losses at the Eric Sollee Invitational … opened the season with a 9-6 mark at the Western Invitational … went 7-2 at the Philadelphia Invitational … finished 8-1 during the team portion of the ACC Championships ... named to the All-ACC Academic Men's Fencing Team and ACC Honor Roll.
