2016-17: Competed in twelve events during the indoor season…Set a new personal-best in the 60m hurdles, clocking a 8.94 at the VT Challenge (2/18)…Finished in second place in the long jump at the VT Challenge, reaching 18-8.50 (5.70)…Reached a new personal-best with 3,508 points in the pentathlon at the ACC Indoor Championships (2/25) to finish in ninth place…Participated in eleven competitions during the outdoor season…Finished in seventh in the heptathlon with 5,066 points at the California Invitational (4/13)…Set a new personal-best in the javelin throw, tossing 132-4 (40.35) at the Mt. Sac Relays (4/13)…Also recorded new personal bests in both the long jump and shot put at the Virginia Grand Prix (4/29), reaching marks of 19-7.50 (5.98)w and 36-3.50 (11.06) respectively…Reached new personal-bests in the 100m hurdles and the 200m at the ACC Outdoor Championships (5/14), finishing in 14.42 and 25.29 respectively…Earned the third highest total points in Duke history in the decathlon at the ACC Outdoor Championships, finishing with 5,397…Named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll.
2015-16: Participated in five competitions during the indoor and outdoor season…in indoor competition, finished fourth in the pentathlon at the Tobacco Road Multis (1/22) with 3,496 points…placed 10th in the long jump at the Carolina Cup (1/15) with a mark of 17-3.50 (5.27)…claimed 12th in the shot put at the ACC Indoor Championships (2/25) after sending the implement 33-10.25 (10.32)…during the outdoor season, tossed the javelin 109-8 (33.43) to capture second at the Duke Invitational (4/23)…finished 14th in the 100 hurdles at the Spec Towns Invite (4/8) in a time of 15.39…claimed 13th in the heptathlon at the ACC Outdoor Championships (5/14) with 4,254 points…named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll.
Prior to Duke: Four-year letterwinner in track & field at Canterbury Episcopal School in Desoto, Texas, under the coaching tutelage of Jerrod Lemmons, Jacob Holmes, Scott Vaughan, Kim Shelton and NFL Hall of Fame wide receiver and Heisman Trophy winner Tim Brown…qualified for the 2014 USA Track & Field (USATF) Junior Olympics in the heptathlon and was named the 2014 Female Athlete of the Year for all Texas 2A schools…as a senior, captured four gold medals at the 2015 Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) 2A Track & Field State Championships, winning the 200, long jump, triple jump and 4x200, her third straight gold in the 4x200 after winning it in 2013 and 2014…earned the silver medal at the same meet in the high jump…also finished first in both the long jump and triple jump as a junior at the 2014 state meet, while taking runner-up honors in the long jump in 2012 and 2013…added to her collection of gold medals with a victory in the 400 at the 2014 state meet…helped Canterbury Episcopal win both the 4x100 and 4x400 at the 2013 state meet, then repeated as state champions in the 4x100 in 2014…selected as a Dale Hansen Scholar-Athlete of the Week in January of 2015, an award that showcases student-athletes from across the Dallas-Fort Worth area…also lettered four years in volleyball as a libero, defensive specialist and setter…was a three-time first team all-state and first team academic all-state honoree…was a four-year letterwinner in basketball as a guard, earning three first team all-state and first team academic all-state selections…holds the school record for career quadruple-doubles…lettered two years in softball as a catcher…named to the all-state second team once…captain of the cheerleading team and a four-year letterwinner…won the Level 7 tumbling competition at the 2009 USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic Championships…graduated as Salutatorian of the 2015 graduating class…president of the National Honor Society and vice president of the Spanish Club at Canterbury Episcopal…served as secretary for the student council…member of the Model UN, honor council and the debate team.
