2015-16: Participated in three competitions during the indoor season…set the Duke record in the 60m dash at the Carolina Cup (1/15), placing second in a time of 7.57…helped the 4x200 team finish first at the Armory Invitational (2/6) in a combined time of 1:37.51, the second-fastest time in school history…claimed the second-best distance in school history after finishing 12th in the triple jump at the Armory Invitational (2/6) with a mark of 39-5.00 (12.01)…finished second in the long jump at the Carolina Cup (1/15) with a leap of 19-3.50 (5.88), which sits third-best in Duke history.
Prior to Duke: As a senior, registered the top times and marks in the state of North Carolina for the outdoor 100, long jump and triple jump and the indoor 55, 60, long jump and triple jump…ranked in the top 10 nationally in the outdoor long jump and the indoor 55, long jump and triple jump…selected as the Raleigh News & Observer’s Female Athlete of the Year…capped high school career with two gold and two bronze medals at the 2015 North Carolina 4A State Meet, winning both the long and triple jumps and placing third in the 100 and 200…at the 2015 New Balance Outdoor Nationals, finished third in the long jump while taking 10th in the 100 and 11th in the triple jump…during the 2015 indoor season, claimed three gold medals at the state championships, winning the 55, long jump and triple jump…grabbed silver in the triple jump at the New Balance Indoor Nationals, leaping 42-0.75 (12.82) to rank second in the country…also placed fourth in the long jump…junior season culminated in being named the 2013-14 North Carolina Gatorade Player of the Year in girl’s track & field…captured two golds at the 2014 Class 4A state championship meet, registering a mark of 19-5.25 (5.92) in the long jump and 39-7.50 (12.08) in the triple jump…at the New Balance Nationals Outdoor Championship event, placed second in the triple jump with a mark of 41-7.25 (12.68), good for the third-best distance in the nation among high school athletes in 2014, and leapt 19-8.00 (5.99) in the long jump to earn bronze…finished with runner-up honors in both the long and triple jump with distances of 19-4.75 (5.91) and 41-7.25 (12.68), respectively, at the USATF Junior Olympics National Championship meet.
