Personal: Born Alyssa Jean Marsh Sept. 8, 1997 in Opelika, Alabama ... Daughter of David and Kristin Marsh ... Has one brother (Aaron) and one sister (Maddie) ... Father swam at Auburn (1978-81) before returning to his alma mater as a coach from 1982-84 and 1990-2007 ... As the head coach of the Tigers (1990-2007), he led the Auburn men and women to a combined 12 national championships ... Father is currently the U.S. Olympic Team head women's coach and oversaw the squad at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio ... He spent 10 years as the CEO/Director of Coaching at SwimMAC Carolina in Charlotte, N.C., before moving to the West Coast in 2017 to become the head coach at UC San Diego ... Mother swam at California and is currently the coach at Pine Lake.
