Men's Lacrosse Registration is currently open for boys’ lacrosse camps during the summer of 2009. Hosted by the Duke men's lacrosse coaching staff, there will be four sessions available to interested players. Duke Men’s Lacrosse will offer two evening camps this summer, one at Duke University and one at Farmingdale State College in New York. They will also host two overnight instructional camps. These camps are residential experiences focused on game fundamentals, skill, and competition.
All sessions share a mission statement that boasts “All access to coaches, players, facilities and experts.” Coach Danowski quotes the mission statement as he describes the experience campers will have, saying, “We value learning... we teach the fundamentals as a springboard to excellence.” Judging by his enthusiasm about the program, it is safe to say players will get much more than lacrosse during one of Coach D’s summer camps.
