2007: Speedy offensive back with good experience ... a big play threat on every touch of the ball ... one of the fastest members of the program ... enters final season with 1,701 career all-purpose yards and a 6.9 yards per rushing attempt average to his credit ... pairs with Chris Davis to give Duke two active players who have returned a kickoff for a touchdown ... owns the sixth-longest rush from scrimmage in Duke history with an 81-yard dash against Miami on October 8, 2005 ... also shares Duke’s modern day record for longest kickoff return with a 100-yard effort at East Carolina on September 3, 2005 ... has five career touchdowns — three rushing, one receiving and one via kickoff return ... owns a career kickoff return average of 22.4 yards on 40 attempts.

2006: Played in 10 games with six starting assignments ... missed the Wake Forest and Virginia Tech contests due to injury ... rushed 29 times for 148 yards and one touchdown ... gained a season-high 49 yards on three attempts versus Vanderbilt ... lone scoring run of the year covered 23 yards at Georgia Tech ... caught 16 passes for 114 yards on the year ... set career single-game bests with six receptions for 72 yards against Florida State ... had 14 catches over the final seven games of the season ... averaged 25.8 yards on five kickoff returns for the year.

2005: Played in all 11 games, earning three starts at tailback ... starting assignments came versus Virginia, Miami and Clemson ... finished second on the team in rushing with 337 yards on just 33 attempts ... averaged an impressive 10.2 yards per carry ... rushed for a career-high 101 yards at Miami including an 81-yard touchdown on the first possession of the third quarter ... scoring run marked the longest play from scrimmage against the Hurricanes since 1976 and ranks as the sixth-longest rush in Duke history ... also topped the 70-yard plateau against Georgia Tech (3 carries for 70 yards) and Florida State (2 carries for 77 yards) ... in the three-game stretch against Miami, Georgia Tech and Florida State, rushed 14 times for 248 yards — good for a 17.7 yards per carry average ... for the year, recorded five plays that covered 50 or more yards on three rushing attempts and two kickoff returns ... ranked fifth in the ACC and 40th in the nation in kickoff return average at 23.9 yards per return ... matched Duke’s modern day kickoff return standard with a 100-yard sprint for a touchdown in the season-opener at East Carolina ... effort ranks second all-time in school history behind Ace Parker’s 105-yard performance in 1936 ... also caught seven passes for 19 yards ... named Duke’s Co-Outstanding Offensive Player along with Justin Boyle.

2004: Played in the final eight games of the year ... started the Maryland contest ... finished with 114 rushing yards on 25 attempts while catching 10 passes for 72 yards and one touchdown ... led Duke in all-purpose yards with 572 ... rushed for a season-high 45 yards on 15 carries against The Citadel ... lone touchdown of the year — a four-yard pass from Mike Schneider — came with 1:21 remaining in the fourth quarter against Clemson and tied the game at 13-13 ... Duke would go on to win the contest, 16-13, after a Deonto McCormick interception set up a 53-yard field goal by Matt Brooks ... against the Tigers, caught a season-best and team-leading five passes for 40 yards ... returned 19 kickoffs for 386 yards, good for a 20.3 yards per return average ... was on the field for a season-high 30 plays versus North Carolina.

2005 Track & Field: During the indoor season, posted Duke’s top times in the 55-meter dash (6.55 at the Hokie Invitational on Feb. 11), 60-meter dash (7.04 at the ACC Championship Preliminaries on Feb. 18) and 200-meter run (23.05 at both the Hokie Invitational and ACC Championships) ... on the outdoor circuit, established the third-fastest time in Duke history in the 100-meters with a 10.68 time at the IC4A Championships on May 14 ... also ran Duke’s top time in the 200-meters (22.43 at the ACC Championships on April 23) ... along with gridiron teammate Jabari Marshall, member of the 4x100 meter relay team that registered the second-best mark in school history (41.81).

Prior to Duke: Listed as the 130th-overall top prospect in California by SuperPrep and the 134th-top running back in the country by TheInsiders.com ... charted as the 28th-top cornerback in the nation by CollegeFootballNews.com ... three-year letterman under coach Tracy Filice ... rushed for 3,077 career yards with 32 touchdowns ... helped North Salinas to 7-5 record in 2003 with a berth in the state playoffs ... as a senior, rushed for 1,783 yards and 18 touchdowns and earned Tri-County Athletic League Offensive Player of the Year honors ... set school and county single-season rushing record ... named offensive player of the year by both the Monterey County Herald and Salinas Californian ... as a junior, rushed for 1,136 yards and 11 touchdowns en route to receiving all-league and all-county honors ... also participated in basketball and track and field ... at the 2003 California State Track and Field Championships, placed second in the 200-meter dash and fourth in the 100-meter dash ... owns personal best times for 21.16 (200m) and 10.65 (100m).
