David Bradley, a 2004 Duke graduate, enters his second season as the director of basketball operations and his 12th year as a member of the Duke basketball support staff.
Bradley works in conjunction with the coaching staff, support staff, Legacy Fund team, compliance office, sports information office and facilities department on a daily basis to ensure that all team-related functions are accomplished in a timely manner. He coordinates with college basketball executives at Nike to supply the team with the equipment and apparel needed for each season, while also managing the logistics associated with a 40-person basketball program.
Bradley has been involved in Duke basketball’s recruiting efforts for more than 15 years, including managing the team’s Duke Blue Planet brand. During that time, Bradley’s work included production of the team magazine, designing and maintaining the team’s website, coordinating and designing various video features, producing graphics, launching numerous social media accounts and maintaining a statistical database for recruiting.
Currently, Bradley works with Duke basketball’s creative coordinator to ensure all team recruiting and branding needs are met.
The West Simsbury, Conn., native earned his bachelor’s degree from Duke, graduating with cum laude honors in sociology. In addition, he assisted the director of basketball operations with all aspects of the recruiting process and was named Club Sports Athlete of the Year.
Bradley and his wife Gina, assistant director of athletics for business operations at Duke, reside in Durham with their dog, Piper.
