Kyle Beatty joined the Duke University Athletic Training staff in July of 2008 and works primarily with the Blue Devil football program.
A native of Cambridge City, Ind., Beatty spent his first three years at Duke as the trainer for the baseball team. He graduated from Franklin College in 2004 with a degree in physical education/athletic training. He then went on to serve as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Michigan State University, working with the baseball and wrestling teams, and received a master of science degree in kinesiology in 2006.
Beatty came to Duke after a two-year stint at the University of Richmond, where he worked with the baseball, men's soccer and women's lacrosse teams. He is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association, the Collegiate Athletic Trainers' Society and the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
