Personal:  Kelly Elizabeth Hathorn was born on June 5, 1987, in Durham, N.C. ... daughter of James and Marybeth Hathorn ... has two brothers, James (23) and John (18), and one sister, Erin (22), played soccer at Duke ... her uncle, Jim Spanarkel, played basketball at Duke from 1975-79 ... other relatives who attended Duke include her father, Jim (1979), mother, Marybeth Spanarkel  (1979), grandmother, Anne Hathorn (1946), and grandfather, Guy Hathorn (1948) ... majoring in psychology.
