Scheyer was named a second team All-America by the U.S. Basketball Writers Association (USBWA). Scheyer and Singler were each named to the final ballot for the Wooden All-America teams and the Wooden Award. The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced its All-District teams with Scheyer earning All-District 2 first team recognition and Singler and Smith being placed on the second team.
Scheyer has started all 34 games and is averaging a team-high 18.6 points and 5.0 assists per game. He also leads the team with 56 steals, 94 three-point field goals and an .875 free throw percentage. He adds to his list of honors that also include, All-ACC first team, ACC All-Tournament first team, Sporting News second team All-America, FoxSports third team All-America and USBWA All-District III team. He is also a finalist for the Oscar Robertson Trophy, Bob Cousy Award and Lowe's Senior Class Award.
Singler is averaging 17.6 points and 6.9 rebounds per game in 34 starts this season. He leads the team with 28 blocks and is tied for second with 14 games with 20 or more points. He was named the ACC Tournament MVP after averaging 21.7 points and 8.3 rebounds while leading Duke to its ninth ACC Championship in the last 12 seasons. He has also been named a Sporting News fifth team All-America, first team All-ACC and to the USBWA All-District III team.
Smith has increased his scoring average from 8.4 points per game last season to 17.3 points per game this year. He has 14 games with at least 20 points after just one in his first two seasons combined. He is also second on the team in assists (91) and steals (41). He has also been named to the All-ACC second team, ACC All-Tournament first team and USBWA All-District III team.
