SALISBURY, N.C. -- Former Duke standout Adam Long fired an 18-under 266 to tie for sixth at the Bolle Classic in his first professional tour event. Long shot 67-65-67-67 to earn just over $7,000 in his first event on the eGolf Professional Tour (formerly the Tarheel Tour).
Long carded two eagles (both in the final round), 21 birdies, 42 pars and just seven bogeys in the 72-hole event. The St. Louis, Mo., native played the par 5s at the Country Club of Salisbury and Sapona Country Club at 10-under, including five-under in the final round. He was also eight-under on the par 4s

Long closed his Duke career ranking in the top 10 in stroke average, under-par rounds, rounds played, rounds in the 60s and top 10 finishes.
