2013-14: In the fall, participated in two events before suffering a season-ending injury at the Virginia/Panorama Farms Invitational (9/28)…Indoors, opened the season at the Tar Heel Open (1/25), placing second in the 3,000…won the 5,000 at the Virginia Tech Challenge (2/22), crossing the line in a time of 15:04.92…Outdoors, participated in three events…won the 3,000 at the Joe Hilton Invitational (4/12), running a time of 8:30.10.
2012-13: Opened the fall with a 19:38.68 clocking over 6K at the Virginia Tech Alumni Invitational ... finished sixth in 19:49 at the NC Central dual ... posted a time of 27:10.3 to place 17th on the 8K course at the Great American Cross Country Festival ... took 11th with a mark of 16:07 for 5K at the Three Stripe Invitational...Indoors, competed in both the 3,000 and 5,000 meters…clocked a personal best time of 8:39.31 in the 3,000 to win the Gene Anderson Invitational…ran his best 5,000 time at the Virginia Tech Challenge by crossing the line in 14:56.02…finished 16th in the same event at the ACC Indoor Championships with a time of 15:03.81…outdoors, focused completely on the 5,000, running his personal best in 14:32.81 at the Duke Invitational…clocked a time of 14:49.67 at the ACC Outdoor Championships to finish 20th in the field…closed out his season at the IC4A Championships with a 30th place finish and time of 15:12.14.
2011-12: Competed on three occasions during the cross country season...started the fall with a 21st-place finish at the James Madison Invitational...took 11th at the Great American Cross Country Festival while clocking a season-best time of 26:07.0 for 8K...came in 79th at the Panorama Farms Invitational...did not compete during the 2012 track seasons...named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll.
2010-11: Indoors, competed in the 3,000m on three occasions...clocked 8:46.21 to take 25th at the Virginia Tech Invitational for his best showing of the season...focused on the 3,000m and 5,000m during the outdoor season...placed seventh in the 3,000m at the Duke Invitational, posting a personal-best 8:56.44...in the 5,000m, took 23rd at the Raleigh Relays with a mark of 15:52.73.
Prior to Duke: Earned four letters at Campbell County...named 2009-10 Wyoming Gatorade Cross Country Runner of the Year...2009 Wyoming 4A Cross Country individual state champion...led Campbell County to two consecutive Wyoming state cross country championships...five-time all-state selection...also played soccer...National Honor Society member...graduated as class valedictorian.
