Career Statistics

Career: Made an immediate impact on the team as a freshman, but was sidelined with injuries for most of the 2012 campaign … tallied 20 goals in three years ... missed the 2011 North Carolina regular season game due to an ankle injury ... had left ankle surgery following her freshman campaign and knee surgery after her sophomore season.


National Team Experience: Trained with the U.S. U-23 National Team in May and July of 2014 ... member of the 2012 U.S. U-20 World Cup team that won the gold medal with a 1-0 victory over Germany in Japan ... trained with the U-20 squad in July of 2012 ... invited to train with the U-20 team in the spring of 2012, but was unable to because of an injury ... trained with the U-20 Women’s National Team in 2011, including a trip to Spain for three games ... member of the 2009 and 2010 U-18 National Team Player Pool.

Junior (2013): Played in all 24 games, starting 23 ... earned 17 points, the second most on the team with a team-high seven goals and three assists ... scored the game-winning goal against Maryland on Oct. 13 ... notched two assists and two goals against Pittsburgh on Oct. 27 ... tied for first in the ACC for individual player game high points in conference games ... played 1,825 minutes.

Sophomore (2012): Appeared in 10 matches … traveled to Japan with the U-20 World Cup team missing the first nine games of the season then missed an additional four matches with an injured ankle … registered two goals and averaged 1.9 shots per game … notched goals against Francis Marion and Loyola (Md.) ... played 473 minutes on the season.

Freshman (2011): Saw action in 26 games and made 22 starts ... Soccer America All-Freshman First Team ... Second Team All-Southeast Region ... earned All-ACC Second Team and ACC All-Freshman Team honors ... named the Primetime Performer of the Week by CollegeSoccer360.com, Soccer America National Player of the Week and TopDrawerSoccer’s National Player of the Week Sept. 12-13, after totaling two goals and four assists in the Duke Nike Classic ... honored as a member of the Duke Nike Classic’s All-Tournament Team ... ACC Co-Player of the Week on Aug. 30 ... named the Ronald McDonald House Charities Student Athlete of the Week on Aug. 31 ... tied for fourth in the ACC with 31 points and averaged 1.19 points per game ... tied for the team-lead and sixth in the ACC with 11 goals ... tied a school record and was tied for third in the ACC with six game-winning goals ... tallied nine assists on the year ... set three Duke freshman records in shots (91), goals (11) and points (31) ... became the 13th player in school history to register a goal in her first collegiate start and the fifth to post goals in her first two starts ... scored her first-career goal, a game-winner, in her first-career start on Aug. 26 in a 2-0 win over Houston ... registered her first multi-goal game in a seven-point performance against Texas A&M, scoring two goals to go along with three assists ... posted a four-point game with one goal and two assists in a 3-0 win over Miami  ... set  and ranked third in the ACC with 91 shots ... her 3.5 shots per-game ranked fourth in the ACC ... had a season-high eight shots two times, at Auburn and against seventh-ranked Virginia ... played 1,688 minutes.

Regional Team Experience: Member of her ODP Region IV regional squad from 2007-08 ... member of the  Alaska ODP team from 2006-08.

High School/Club: The 2011 Gatorade Player of the Year in the state of Alaska ... a 2009 and 2010 NSCAA Youth All-America selection ... 2010 Parade All-America ... 2009 NSCAA High School All-America ... accumulated 98 goals in only three years of high school soccer ... as a senior, scored 22 goals and had six assists in only 15 contests ... led Chugiak to its first Region IV (Cook Inlet Conference) Championship in school history -- scored seven goals in three games during the tournament ... All-State selection as a freshman and senior ... did not play high school soccer as a junior, instead played club soccer with Crossfire Premier “91” Girls from Redmond, Wash. ... three-time All-Region as a freshman, sophomore and senior ... as a sophomore, posted 36 goals and 14 assists ... led the Cook Inlet Conference in scoring as a freshman and sophomore ... notched 40 goals and eight assists as a freshman ... helped lead the Crossfire Premier “91” Girls to a 2010 Washington State Championship ... won the Alaska State Championship in 2009 (CISC Velocity “92” Girls) and 2008 (AYSA ‘92” Girls) ... led her CISC Velocity “93” Girls to the Predator Division Championship at the 2010 Disney College Showcase ... won the Gold Division Championship at the 2008 San Diego Surf Cup XXVIII with the Honolulu Soccer Club Bulls “92” Girls ... lettered one year in tennis.

Personal: Kelly Ann Cobb was born Aug. 26, 1992 in Anchorage, Alaska ... daughter of Gardner & Kathy Cobb ... has one sister, Abbey (23) ... father, Gardner, played football at Cincinnati from 1973-78 ... uncle, Glenn, played football at Ohio State from 1978-82 ... uncle, Greg, played football at Otterbein College from 1976-80 ... an All-ACC Academic Team selection as a freshman ... a three-time selection to the ACC Honor Roll ... majoring in psychology.
