DURHAM, N.C. – GoDuke.com launched its 2011 Private Lesson Auction on Tuesday. Several Duke head coaches are offering one hour private lessons for participants who must be 12 years old or younger and cannot be in the 9th grade.
Private lessons will be available in the following sports: baseball (hitting lesson and position play lesson), fencing, field hockey, men’s golf, women’s golf, men’s lacrosse, women’s lacrosse, men’s soccer, women’s soccer, swimming & diving (swimming lesson and diving lesson), men’s tennis, women’s tennis, volleyball and wrestling.
The private lesson participant must be 12 years old or younger and cannot be in the 9th grade. NCAA rules prevent an institutional coach from providing private lessons to prospective student-athletes. In the event Duke determines that a private lesson for the auction winner would violate NCAA rules, Duke reserves the right to declare the winner to be the highest bidder for whom such a lesson would not violate NCAA rules.
For the men’s and women’s golf lessons, the auction is also open to interested participants who are 18 years old or over and who are not currently enrolled in college or a prospective student-athlete.
Bid now for your chance to win a private lesson for your child with Duke coaches in the 2011 Private Lesson Auction.
