2011-12: Duke's top wrestler with a 23-13 overall record at 141 pounds ... became just the second Duke true freshman to qualify for the NCAA Championships ... led all Blue Devils with nine pins ... selected as Duke's Most Valuable Wrestler ... competed unattached for the first half of the season ... registered four top-four tournament finishes, including a fourth-place showing at ACC Championships to earn an automatic berth in the NCAA Championships field ... won The Citadel Open to begin his collegiate wrestling career ... took second at the Wolfpack Open and the Pembroke Open ... went 8-5 in dual mataches and 2-3 against ACC foes ... earned ACC victories over Lou Mascola of Maryland and Nick Nelson from Virginia ...
