DURHAM, N.C. - Former Duke football player Brandon Harper signed a free agent contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars on Tuesday, joining several other former Blue Devils on NFL rosters as NFL Training Camps begin Wednesday.

Harper flew to Jacksonville Tuesday morning to join the team as they start camp Wednesday. He played in nine games with eight starts at left guard as a senior in 2010. He logged a total of 285 snaps for the season. Over his four-year career he played in 35 games with 13 starts. Harper graduated from Duke with a degree in biological anthropology and anatomy psychology in December, 2010.

Patrick Mannelly begins his 14th season with the Chicago Bears. He holds the Bears' franchise record for most career games played with 200 in his 13 seasons. The Bears start camp on Friday.

Other players on NFL training camp rosters include Patrick Bailey, Thaddeus Lewis,  Ayanga Okpokowuruk, Ben Patrick, Vincent Rey and Eron Riley.  

The first player to begin training camp will be Riley with the Denver Broncos tomorrow. It is Riley's third year in the NFL and second season with the Broncos.

Patrick and Rey each start up camp on Thursday. Patrick will be with the Arizona Cardinals for his fifth season while Rey stays with the Bengals for the second straight year.

Bailey, Lewis and Okpokowuruk all begin camp on Friday. Bailey is in his fourth NFL season and second with the Tennessee Titans.  Lewis enters his second season with the St. Louis Rams and Okpokowuruk will compete for a spot with the New York Giants for the second straight year.
