2009-10: Began the cross country season with a 15th-place showing out of 85 finishers at the JMU Invitational ... was Duke's sixth man at the Roy Griak Invitational with a 29th-place effort out of 165 finishers ... ran a 24:49.45 over 8K as the Devils' fifth man at the Panorama Farms Invitational ... as Duke's fifth man at the ACC Championships, ran an 8K personal-best 24:16.01 to help the Blue Devils to a fourth-place team finish ... also turned in a 10K personal-best 31:30.34 at the NCAA Southeast Regional, good for 39th place out of 231 finishers ... at the NCAA Championships, came in 149th after posting a 31:43 for 10K ... competed in two meets indoors, running the 800-meters and 1,000-meters ... did not see action in the outdoor season.
2008-09: Showed his range throughout the season, competing in both cross country and the 4x800m relay ... was Duke's third runner at the ACC Cross Country Championships with an 8K time of 25:26 ... indoors, turned in personal bests in both the mile (4:11.22) and the 3,000-meters (8:28.22) during his rookie campaign ... earned All-East accolades with 1:53 splits for 800 meters in both the trials and the finals of the IC4A distance medley ... outdoors, went under a 1:53 split (800m) for the first time with a 1:53.60 clocking to anchor the Blue Devil sprint medley at the Penn Relays ... that SMR, which was in fourth place prior to Clark taking the baton, was the fifth-best all-time performance in Duke history for the event ... in the Penn Relay finals, split 1:50.90, leading the SMR to a fourth-place showing at the meet ... concluded his outdoor season by earning outdoor All-East honors in the 4x800m relay, clocking splits of 1:51.70 in the trials and 1:52.1 in the finals, and helping the team finish in 7:27.44, the third-best Duke performance in the event.
