2011-12: Competed once during his freshman campaign, running the 60m dash indoors in 7.23 at the UNC Invitational...redshirted both the indoor and outdoor season due to injury. 

Prior to Duke: Four-year letterwinner at Niwot...took second in the 100m at the Colorado 4A State Championships and sixth in the 200m...anchored the sixth-place 4x100m relay squad at the state meet...two-time 100m champion at the USATF Colorado Junior Olympics...also lettered three years in soccer...led his soccer team to the Colorado 4A State Championship as a junior...named Rotary Club's Academic/Athletic Scholar of the Year.

Personal: Son of Patrick and Carolyn Summers...born July 1, 1993...has one sister, Libby...plans to major in psychology.
