Honors: ACC Academic Honor Roll (2012)

2011-12: Finished fourth in his first competition as a Duke student-athlete at the Vertklasse Meet...threw a personal-best 184-1 (56.11) to finish ninth at his first ACC Outdoor Championships...named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll.

Prior to Duke: Four-year letterwinner at Boston College High School...three-time conference champion in the javelin event...took third at the 2011 MIAA Eastern Div. I Outdoor Championships...twice named an all-star by the Boston Globe...captain of his squad as a senior...also played hockey for the Conquistadors U-18 Tier II National Bound team...member of the National Honor Society...named to the high honor roll every term.
