DURHAM, N.C. - Former Duke men's tennis standout Chaim Arlosoroff was honored Saturday with the unveiling of a plaque on the program's Wall of Fame in the Sheffield Indoor Tennis Center.

The program's first All-American in 1982, Arlosoroff was also the first Blue Devil to be named the ACC Tournament MVP in 1982 while guiding the squad to Duke's first ACC title. In addition, the Tel Aviv, Israel native won the ACC Flight Championship in singles during the 1982 season.

Arlosoroff was named to the ACC's 50th Anniversary Men's Tennis Team on Sept. 4, 2002, and was on hand in Sheffield for Saturday's recognition ceremony following Duke's 6-0 win over VCU.

"Chaim is the epitome of success as a student, an athlete and now as a professional," said former head coach Jay Lapidus.
