DURHAM, N.C.-The Duke University wrestling team takes its three-match win streak to the road this weekend at ACC foe Maryland. The Blue Devils and the 17th-ranked Terrapins square off at 1 p.m., Feb. 12 at Comcast Pavilion.

The match will feature live video with the purchase of a subscription. Duke (3-6, 0-3)) and Maryland (13-1, 3-1) will be wrestling for the 67th time since the first meeting in 1940. The Terrapins lead the all-time series 56-9-1 and have won six straight.

Duke is led by redshirt senior A.J. Guardado, who is riding a six-match win streak, with a career-best 18-7 overall record at 149 pounds. He is 2-1 against ACC foes and five of his six recent victories have been by four or fewer points.

Freshman Tanner Hough has been outstanding for the Blue Devils at 141 pounds. He currently sports a team-best 20-6 overall record and has a team-high nine pins. He is on a five-match win streak and has three straight falls, including two in the first period.

Duke's success at the lower weight classes includes 133-pounder Brandon Gambucci. The Mansfield, Ohio native is 18-8 overall and has garnered extra points in each of his previous four bouts.

Redshirt junior and 2011 NCAA quarterfinalist Diego Bencomo looks to pick up his eighth win of the year at 184 pounds. He is 7-1 overall and 1-1 against ACC opponents.

At 125 pounds, redshirt junior Peter Terrezza has won his past three bouts and is 16-11 overall. This will be just his second ACC match of the season after missing two to injury.

Maryland sports an impressive 13-1 record with the lone loss coming at the hands of ACC rival Virginia. The Terrapins are in search of a share of the ACC title with a win over the Blue Devils.

Maryland features five wrestlers currently ranked in InterMat's top-20 led by second-ranked Josh Asper (165). At 197, fifth-ranked Christian Boley leads the Terps with 27 victories, while Spencer Myers, ranked eighth at 285, recently returned to action for Maryland. Jimmy Sheptock has risen to 13th in country at 174 and is 4-0 in ACC matches. Kyle John is ranked 19th overall at 157 pounds and has recorded a pin in two of his last four dual victories.

Duke closes out its home schedule, February 17 against NC State and Ohio University at 6:30 p.m., in Cameron Indoor Stadium.
