GREENSBORO, N.C. - Coming off scoring a career-high 25 points in the ACC Tournament quarterfinals on Friday, Duke University sophomore Chelsea Gray was named to the All-ACC Tournament second team on Sunday afternoon following the conclusion of the ACC Championship.
Gray hit a career-high 10 field goals and matched a career high with 17 attempts, while grabbing seven rebounds, three steals and two assists in a 75-73 loss to N.C. State.
Members of the first team were Alyssa Thomas of Maryland (MVP), Sasha Goodlett (Georgia Tech, Marissa Kastanek (NC State), Lynetta Kizer (Maryland) and Tyaunna Marshall (Georgia Tech). On the second team with Gray was Chelsea Douglas (Wake Forest), Tianna Hawkins (Maryland), Shawnice Wilson (Miami) and Metra Walthour (Georgia Tech).
The honor for Gray marks the second straight year she has been named to the All-ACC Tournament second team.
Duke (24-5) awaits the NCAA Tournament selection show on Monday, March 13 at 7:00 p.m.
