DURHAM, N.C. - The Duke rowing team officially opens its 2012 racing season this Saturday, March 17 at Louisville's Oak Ridge Cardinal Invite in Oak Ridge, Tenn.

"Getting three races in one weekend is a great way for us to open the season," said head coach Robyn Horner. "It allows us to put it all out there and make adjustments as we go through the weekend."
Duke will open by meeting Louisville and Dayton on Saturday morning, with Buffalo following that afternoon, before taking on Minnesota and Jacksonville Sunday morning.
Following the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invite, Duke will have an open weekend to prepare for the San Diego Crew Classic on March 31-April 1 in San Diego, Calif.
