  • Moved to 25-5 on the season and advances to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
  • Won its 25th straight contest against a Southern Conference school.
  • Improved to 19-0 all-time in the first round of the tournament.
  • Posted its 25th victory of the season, marking the 14th straight year with 25 or more wins.
  • Moved to 37-15 all-time against the Southern Conference.
  • Coach P improved to 20-15 all-time in NCAA Tournament action, including a 10-4 mark at Duke.
  • Is now 14-5 all-time when seeded No. 2.
  • Coach P moved to 7-2 all-time when seeded No. 2.

Sophomore Tricia Liston

  • Totaled 12 first half points before finishing the game with 22.
  • Now owns a team-best six games this season with 20+ points.
  • Drained 2-of-2 from downtown.
  • Hit 7-of-10 field goals and 6-of-6 from the free throw line.
  • Posted double-figure scoring in her first NCAA Tournament game and the 15th time this season.
  • Made her first NCAA Tournament start of her career, which was her 14th start of the season and 16th of her career.

Sophomore Chelsea Gray

  • With her four steals on the night, moved into eighth place on Duke's single season steals list with 82. Had four steals on the night.
  • Had 16 points, six rebounds, six assists and four assists in 28 minutes.
  • Totaled double-figure scoring for the 22nd time this season and the sixth straight game.

Freshman Elizabeth Williams

  • Extended her ACC Freshman blocks mark to 112 with three on the night.
  • With her three free throws made on the night, moved into ninth place on the Duke freshman free throws made charts with 83.
  • Had 11 points, three rebounds, three blocks.
  • Notched double-figure scoring for the 16th straight game and the 24th time this season.
  • Her 24 double-figure scoring games this season ranks fourth on the Duke freshman charts.

Sophomore Haley Peters

  • Had 13 points, seven rebounds, while taking only six shots.
  • Posted double-figure scoring for the 18th time this season.

Senior Shay Selby

  • Tied a career high with six rebounds.

Freshman Ka'lia Johnson

  • Scored a career-high six points on the night.
  • Played a career-high 21 minutes.

Other Duke Notes...

  • Hit 51.9 percent from the field, which is the 12th time this season hitting 50.0% or better of its field goals.
  • Outrebounded Samford, 41-23.
  • Dished 15 assists on the night.
  • Had only 13 turnovers.
  • Posted 38 points in the paint to only 12 for Samford.
  • Hit 55.6 percent from the field in the second half.
  • Hit 22-of-25 from the free throw line (88.0%).
  • Appearing in its 18th consecutive and 19th overall trip in the NCAA Tournament.
