DURHAM, N.C.- The Duke rowing team looks to compete in the ACC Championship this Saturday, April 21, in Clemson, S.C.  Recently, sat down with senior rower Tori Arendt to learn more about the North Royalton, Ohio, native. What TV do you have DVR'd?
Tori Arendt: I watch a bunch of different shows like Criminal Mind and Modern Family, but I also have a guilty pleasure for reality television like Dance Moms and Toddlers and Tiara. Do you have any embarrassing music on your iPod?
TA: Probably old Disney Music like Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin What is your favorite movie?
TA: The Shawshank Redemption What is on your bucket list?
TA: I would really like to travel to every continent, if possible, because I have never really been out of North America. What's the biggest obstacle you've had to overcome?
TA: I actually walked onto the team, so it was a bit of a struggle to compete for seats with people who had been doing it much longer than I had been. What has been your favorite class at Duke?
TA: Comp Sci 160.  The professor was great; he had this way of seemingly tying in a bunch of different topics and making it all understandable. What has been your toughest class at Duke?|
TA: Probably physics.  I have never liked physics! Who has had the most impact on your life?
TA: My family. I use to be the shiest person in the entire world and my family is so outgoing and talkative and they laugh a lot, it has definitely changed the way I am because I have to go out of my comfort zone just to be with them and interactive with them. Describe Coach Robyn Horner in one word.
TA: Determined. I wish I knew how to ______.
TA: Speak Spanish

GoDuke.Com: What is your worst habit?
TA: I say the 'like' a lot.

GoDuke.Com: What was your first car?
TA: I had a '98 Toyota Camry that was basically falling apart, and it had 170,000 miles on it.  It was a nice first car, I didn't have to pay for it, and so I was happy. What is your favorite restaurant in Durham?
