DURHAM, N.C.-Duke University sophomore Josh Dionne and junior Dan Wigrizer have been named the Ronald McDonald House Charities Duke Student-Athletes of the Week. Dionne and Wigrizer share the award, the first RMHC award for men's lacrosse this season.

An attackman, Dionne posted a game-high four goals as seventh-ranked Duke upset No. 1 Virginia on the road to claim a share of the ACC regular season title and the top seed in the ACC Championship. The Merrimack, N.H., native scored four straight goals in a span of 9:42 to  push Duke's lead from two to six in the third quarter. The four scores matched his career high and marked his third four-goal performance of the season and his sixth hat trick of the year. Dionne currently ranks second in the ACC in goals scored with 28 and is tied for seventh overall in points with 32.

In his first conference game of the season, Wigrizer turned in one of his best performances of the season between the pipes. He anchored Duke's defense to a 13-5 victory over top-ranked Virginia. The five goals by the Cavaliers were their lowest total this season, and marked just the third time they have failed to reach at least 10 goals. The Villanova, Pa., native made 14 saves, including four in the first quarter, and held Virginia to just two goals in the first half. The Cavaliers were shut out by the Blue Devils in two quarters, marking the first time this season they have been held scoreless in a quarter. Wigrizer is 7-2 this season and sports a 8.67 goals against average and a .547 save percentage.

Duke, earning the top seed for the fifth time in program history, will take on No. 4 seed Maryland in the opening game of the 2012 ACC Championship. Faceoff is set for 5 p.m., at Klӧckner Stadium on the grounds of University of Virginia. The winner advances to the title match at 3:30 p.m.
