DURHAM, N.C. - The Duke baseball team will host Presbyterian on Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Jack Coombs Field in its final home game of the season. Admission is free to all fans attending the game. GoDuke.com will have exclusive live video coverage of Tuesday’s contest.
Duke enters the week with a 19-32 record. The Blue Devils went 3-3 last week, highlighted by a win over Longwood on Sunday and by sweeping Coppin State in a doubleheader on Tuesday. Duke then dropped a three-game series to seventh-ranked North Carolina over the weekend.
Duke is 9-20 at home this season.
Presbyterian enters the week with a 22-29 record. The Blue Hose won two of three games against Gardner-Webb in Big South action over the weekend.
Duke is 5-1 all-time against Presbyterian. The Blue Devils have won four straight in the series, taking both games of doubleheaders on May 6, 2009 in Clinton, S.C., and May 11, 2010 in Durham.
A Look Ahead
Duke (19-32, 7-20 ACC) will hit the road to take on Boston College (21-30, 9-18 ACC) this weekend at Commander Shea Field in its final series of the season. Thursday’s series-opener is set for a 2:30 p.m. start, Friday’s game will begin at 1:30 p.m. and Saturday’s series finale will be at 1 p.m.
