SLOVENIA – Duke University incoming freshman Celine Boutier shot three-under-par on the final day on her way to cruising to the European Ladies Amateur title on Saturday at the 5,975-yard, par 71 Diners Club Ljubljana Golf Course in Slovenia.
Over the four days of action, Boutier shot 16-under-par with rounds of 68, 66, 66 and 68 to finish with a total of 268. A native of Montrouge, France, Boutier won the title by six strokes over Marina Stutz, who was 10-under-par for her week.
Duke junior Laetitia Beck had a great opening round as she shot two-under-par, 69, but struggled the next two days with rounds of 74 and 77. She did not make the cut heading into the final round of action with a three-day ledger of 220.
