Casey Stevenson begins his first season as assistant video coordinator after acting as an operations assistant for the Duke men’s basketball program for the 2012-13 campaign. In this role, he works closely with the director of technology to fulfill all aspects of the team’s film and video needs, including opponent scouting, coordinating film exchange, managing the video room and supplying coaching staff with game film.
Stevenson also works in conjunction with the directors of the Coach K Basketball Camp and the K Academy during the offseason.
A Raleigh, N.C., native, Stevenson graduated from Duke in 2012 with a degree in international comparative studies with a certificate in markets & management studies. As an undergraduate, Stevenson was a manager on the basketball team for two seasons. He also played on the club basketball team during his freshman and sophomore years.
Stevenson played high school basketball and soccer at Ravenscroft and was a teammate of former Blue Devil Ryan Kelly. He is the fifth member of the Stevenson family to graduate from Duke. His older brother, Kevin, was a four-year letterwinner on the Duke soccer team and a captain as a senior in 2007.
