Prior to Duke: Two-year letterwinner in track & field at Walther Lutheran High School...finished second in the long jump at the 2012 2A division of the Illinois state track meet...finished fourth in the long jump at the 2011 1A division of the Illinois state track meet...earned 2011 Suburban Christian Conference All-Conference honors...two-year letterwinner on the football team where he led the team in tackles and interceptions...member of the National Honor Society.
