DURHAM, N.C.-For the second consecutive week and the third time in his career, Duke University senior goalkeeper James Belshaw was named the ACC Men's Soccer Player of the Week the conference office announced Tuesday. Belshaw has helped anchor the Duke defense to three consecutive shutouts.

Belshaw, starting his 67th career game, was outstanding in a 0-0 tie with No. 16 Wake Forest last week. The Nottingham, England native stopped eight shots in 110 minutes of the scoreless draw. It was the third time of his career he has made at least eight saves in a game, while helping the Blue Devils to their third consecutive shutout.

Riding a three-game unbeaten streak, Duke has not allowed a goal in the last 322:45. The Blue Devils earned shutouts in wins over Georgia State and Clemson and in a tie with the Demon Deacons. Duke is 3-3-1 overall for the year and 1-1-1 in ACC play.

Duke returns to action Tuesday night when it travels to UNC Wilmington for a 7 p.m., kickoff with the Seahawks. The Blue Devils resume ACC play Friday versus rival North Carolina. The game will be broadcast live by the ACC Digital Network on YouTube from Koskinen Stadium at 7 p.m.
