DURHAM, N.C. - The Duke volleyball team concludes its current road swing with a weekend that features three of the top ACC teams in recent history, traveling to Florida to take on Miami and No. 14 Florida State. The Blue Devils, Hurricanes and Seminoles all finished in the top three of the ACC standings in each of the past two seasons.

The Blue Devils (9-5, 0-2 ACC) and the Hurricanes (10-3, 2-1 ACC) square off Friday, September 28 at 7 p.m., in the Knight Sports Complex. The match is available via live stats free of charge and video stream for GoDuke.com Inside Access or Canes All Access subscribers. Duke will then take on Florida State (10-2, 2-1 ACC) Sunday, September 30 at 1 p.m., in Tully Gym. Fans can follow Sunday's contest on CBS Game Tracker.

With five freshmen on the 2012 roster, the Blue Devils continue to grow as a team early in the season. Underclassman outside hitters Jeme Obeime and Emily Sklar are two of Duke's top targets on offense, combining for 306 kills through 14 matches. With 288 digs to her credit, junior libero Ali McCurdy anchors the Blue Devils' defense as the Tampa, Fla., native averages 5.65 digs per set to lead the ACC.

Miami enters Friday's match after splitting last weekend's results in Virginia. The Hurricanes topped Virginia 3-0 last Friday, but fell at Virginia Tech, 3-0, Sunday. Miami leads the ACC in both kills (14.65 kps) and assists (13.81 aps) per set with Taylor Hollins (171 kills) and Alex Johnson (134 kills, 20 aces) leading the way.

Friday's match is the 16th in program history between the Hurricanes and the Blue Devils. Duke leads the all-time series 10-5, however, Miami has emerged victorious in four of the squads' past seven meetings including both contests in 2011.

Winners of four straight, FSU edged Virginia Tech, 3-2, before downing Virginia, 3-1, its last time out. Both Fatma Yildirim (131 kills) and Olivera Medic (108 kills) have topped 100 kills for the season while Ashley Neff leads the conference in both blocks (69) and hitting percentage (.452).

Duke leads Florida State 35-12 in the all-time series, winning 12-straight from 2002-08. The Seminoles have had the upper hand recently, taking four of the past five matches in the series.

The Blue Devils return home Friday, October 5 in the first of first consecutive home matches. Duke takes on Maryland Friday at 7 p.m., then plays host to Boston College Saturday, October 6 at 8 p.m., in Cameron Indoor Stadium.
