Michael was selected in the 29th round of the 1998 MLB draft by the Arizona Diamondbacks and played seven seasons in MLB (2001-07) with the Diamondbacks and the Cleveland Indians, posting a 3.82 ERA in 254.2 innings pitched ... Brother also won a bronze medal with the 2008 U.S. Olympic team in Beijing.
