DURHAM -- About 75 student-athletes, 12 companies, Markets and Management Studies program representatives, Duke Career Center representatives, and athletic administration attended the Career Athlete Student-Athlete Career Networking Forum on Monday evening.  The forum included a national employer panel, professional round table talks, and a career networking segment.  Each semester, Career Athletes selects 12 to 15 schools to host the forum.

This was the first time Duke Athletics hosted the Career Networking Forum.

Last spring, Duke Athletics partnered with Career Athletes, the largest national community of current and former student-athletes and local, regional, and national employers.  Career Athletes provides both career development services and software within collegiate athletics.

More information on Career Athletes can be found on their website at www.careerathletes.com.
Overall, the networking forum was a huge success.  Student-athletes across almost all the Duke Varsity athletic teams were able to attend the event on Monday, October 8th from 7:00-9:00pm.
