DURHAM, N.C. - Duke volleyball freshman Elizabeth Campbell earned ACC Volleyball Freshman of the Week honors Monday as announced by the league office.

Campbell had a strong weekend for the Blue Devils against No. 13 Florida State and Miami, hitting over .300 on 86 attempts. Thursday against the Seminoles, she led all players with 11 kills to go along with eight digs, two blocks and an ace. Saturday, Campbell finished the night with a match and career-high 25 kills while adding 10 digs, four blocks and three aces in her fourth career double-double. A native of Parker, Colo., she hit .333 against Miami on 57 attempts. Campbell totaled six kills apiece in the second, third and fourth sets while adding five in the fifth, and amassed 11 consecutive kills without an error beginning midway through the fourth set. The match marked Campbell's fifth straight with double-digit kills and third double-double in the past four matches.

The accolade is the first for Campbell and marks the third for the Blue Devils this season. Rookie Emily Sklar has earned the honor twice this year.

Duke travels to Georgia Tech and Clemson this weekend, taking on the Yellow Jackets November 15 before facing the Tigers November 16.
