With the Duke Victory…
• Improves to 8-0 on the season.
• Moved the all-time series record to 5-1 in favor of the Blue Devils, including five straight wins.
• Coach P moved to 24-11 all-time against teams from the Big East.
Sophomore Elizabeth Williams
• Finished the game with a team-high 16 points, seven rebounds, five blocks and two assists in 30 minutes.
• Blocked at least one shot in 41 straight games.
• Reached double-figure scoring for the seventh straight game and the 34th time in her career.
Junior Tricia Liston
• Hit a three-pointer for the 15th straight game.
• With her two three-pointers made, now owns 101 for her career moving past the 100-trey mark on Sunday.
• Finished the game with six points, six rebounds and two assists.
Junior Haley Peters
• Had 11 points, five rebounds, two assists, two blocks, and one steal.
• Her two blocks was a career high.
• Reached double-figure scoring for the sixth time this season and 35th time in her career.
Junior Chelsea Gray
• Snapped a streak of 15 straight games of scoring double-figure scoring.
• Had nine points, five rebounds, four assists and three steals.
Senior Allison Vernerey
• Returned to action after missing the last game with an injured elbow.
• Played 15 minutes and had two points.
Sophomore Ka'lia Johnson
• Came off the bench to register 10 points, seven rebounds and two steals in 23 minutes.
• Marks the second time in her career she has scored double-figures.
Other Duke Notes…
• Shot a season-low 37.3 percent from the field.
• Outrebounded St. John’s 44-35.
• Held St. John’s to 32.1 percent shooting.
• Had a 34-20 advantage in points in the paint.
• Totaled 20 second chance points.
• Had a season-low 14 assists and tied a season low with nine steals.
• Scored a season-low 60 points.
• Will be off next week due to exams and then will travel to Los Angeles, Calif., to play in the Trojan Classic on Dec. 21-22. The Blue Devils will face CSU-Bakersfiled on Dec. 21 at 8:00 p.m.
