DURHAM -- Several Duke men's basketball players met with the media Tuesday afternoon in advance of the team's back-to-back games against Cornell and Elon this week. Seniors Mason Plumlee and Ryan Kelly, sophomore Quinn Cook and freshman Rasheed Sulaimon all answered questions after practice.
The Blue Devils head into Wednesday and Thursday night's games ranked number one in the nation after starting the season 9-0, including three wins over teams ranked in the top-5.
Plumlee leads Duke in scoring and rebounding, averaging a double-double per game on the year. Cook is first on the team in assists, averaging just under six per game.
Kelly, a team captain along with Mason Plumlee, leads Duke in blocked shots per game, with more than two swats per contest, while Sulaimon, one of the nation's best freshmen, is averaging more than 12 points per game while hitting 40% of his three-point attempts.
