Team Notes:

•    Duke played its 197th straight game as a top-10 team. The Blue Devils are 165-32 (.838) during that span.
•    Duke improved to 33-9 all-time against Florida State and 30-8 under head coach Mike Krzyzewski. Duke has won four of the last five meetings against Florida State in the Donald L. Tucker Center.
•    Duke improved to 74-24 all-time when ranked No. 5 in the AP Poll. Duke has won 10 straight and 21 of its last 22 games when ranked No. 5.
•    Duke shot a season-high 60.8 percent (31-of-51) from the floor with all five starters shooting over 50 percent. The .608 shooting percentage was Duke’s highest since a .614 showing on Nov. 12, 2011 against Presbyterian. It was Duke’s highest field goal percentage in an ACC game since shooting .683 against Miami on Jan. 14, 2007.
•    Duke shot 61.1 percent (11-of-18) from three-point range and hit at least 10 treys for the seventh time this season. Duke has 10 or more made three-pointers in three of the past five games. Seth Curry hit 5-of-7 (.714) shots from three-point range, while Quinn Cook finished 4-of-6 (.667) and Rasheed Sulaimon 2-of-4 (.500).
•    The Blue Devils built an 18-2 lead over the first 4:45 of the game. Duke hit 8-of-10 field goals to start the game, including 2-of-3 from three-point range. Florida State did not score over the first 4:00 of the game.
•    Duke started two freshmen – Amile Jefferson and Rasheed Sulaimon – for the fourth straight game. The last time Duke started a pair of freshmen in four straight games was the 2006-07 season when Jon Scheyer and Lance Thomas started together in four straight.
•    Duke built a halftime lead of at least 20 points for the third time this season (Florida Gulf Coast & Delaware).
•    Duke scored at least 40 points in the first half for the third straight game.
•    Duke outrebounded Florida State 27-24. The Blue Devils controlled their own backboard, outrebounding the Seminoles 21-11 on their end of the floor, including a 16-3 mark in the first half.
•    The inside duo of Mason Plumlee and Amile Jefferson combined to shoot a perfect 8-of-8 from the floor while combining for 19 points, nine rebounds and four blocks.
•    The starting five combined for 72 of Duke’s 79 points with four of those five players scoring in double figures. Duke’s starters average an NCAA-leading 67.6 points per game on the season, or 86.6 percent of the team total. The starters have scored at least 70 points in back-to-back games.
•    Duke gave up just nine assists, marking the 12th time this season that the Blue Devils have held their opponent 10 or fewer assists. Duke opponents are assisting on just 38.9 percent of their made field goals this season.

Player Notes:

Quinn Cook

•    Earned his 19th straight start and scored in double figures for the 12th time this season while dishing out six assists. Cook has delivered at least 10 points and five assists in three straight games and eight times overall this season.
•    Delivered at least five assists for the 14th time this season and held his season assist average to 6.2 per game. With an average of 11.1 points per game, Cook is on pace to become only the fifth player in school history to average at least 6.0 assists and 10.0 points per game (Dick Groat, Bobby Hurley, Jason Williams and Chris Duhon).
•    Committed just one turnovers in 32 minutes of play. Cook has three or fewer turnovers in 14 of his last 15 games and owns a 3.77:1 assist-to-turnover ratio during that span.

Seth Curry
•    Put together his second straight 20-point game. Curry has 20 or more points in eight of his last 13 games.
•    Shot 5-of-7 from three-point range for his second highest three-point shooting percentage of the season (minimum five attempts).
•    Hit his first three three-pointers of the game. Curry has hit at least three three-pointers in a game a team-leading 11 times this season.
•    Scored in double figures for the 15th time this season and the 52nd time in his Duke career. Duke is 14-1 this season and 47-6 all-time when Curry scores in double figures.
•    Curry scored 13 points in the first half for his third straight double-figure scoring half. Curry ended that streak with an eight-point second half.

Amile Jefferson
•    Was a perfect 4-of-4 from the field for 11 points. It was Jefferson’s fourth double-figure scoring effort in Duke’s last six games. Since Ryan Kelly went down with an injury, Jefferson has averaged 8.5 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game while shooting 55.3 percent from the floor.

Mason Plumlee
•    Played just 25 minutes, his second lowest total of the season and his lowest in an ACC game this season.
•    Finished a perfect 4-of-4 from the field for eight points. It was only the second time all season that Plumlee did not score in double figures.
•    Increased his career rebound total to 953. Plumlee needs just 47 more rebounds to become the ninth player in school history with 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds and the third with 1,000 points, 1,000 rebounds and 150 blocks.

Rasheed Sulaimon
