DURHAM, N.C. – Several former Blue Devils are performing well with their teams overseas.  Check out the listing below to find their statistics and recent game notes.

Karima Christmas
Maccabi Ramat Hen – Israel
2012-13 Stats: 20 games, 15.7 PPG, 9.7 RPG, 2.1 APG, 1.9 SPG, 0.6 BPG
Christmas is the leading scorer for the Maccabi Ramat Hen through 20 games this season, shooting the ball just under 50-percent from the floor. She is also shooting well from beyond the arc, at a 30-percent clip, while grabbing 9.7 boards per game. Christmas has recorded a double-double in her past three games, including 17 points and 13 rebounds against Eletzur Ramla in her last game.   

Jasmine Thomas
Vologda Chevakata – Russia

Thomas has played a key part for Vologda Chevakata in Russia during the 2012-13 season, starting the majority of games. Her team, the Vologda Chevakata, was defeated in the semifinals of the Eurocup Playoffs by M. Dynamo. In Eurocup play, Thomas was the third leading scored for Chevakata with 10.7 points per game, while averaging a team-leading 3.1 assists per game. She shot the ball well from the floor, as she was 52.2-percent and 34-percent from beyond the arc. In the return to Russian league competition, Thomas netted 18 points while assisting on six baskets in her last game against Spartak V MR. She is currently second on the team in Russian league competition, averaging 2.6 assists per game.

Krystal Thomas
Jiangsu Phoenix – China
2012-13 Stats: 22 games, 17.6 PPG, 14.1 RPG, 0.5 APG, 0.3 SPG, 0.7 BPG
Thomas completed her season in the China-WCBA league as the leading scorer for the Jiangsu Phoenix averaging 17.6 points per game and rebounding at 14.1 per game.

Chante Black
Samsun – Turkey
2012-13 Stats: 15 games, 12.7 PPG, 11.7 RPG, 1.3 APG, 1.1 SPG, 1.5 BPG
Black is also averaging a double-double for the season, with 12.7 points and 11.7 rebounds per game. She is second on her team in scoring, while shooting a team-best 50-percent from the floor. In a 69-61 loss against Ceyhan BLD, Black recorded a double-double with 17 points on 8-of-13 shooting from the floor and 12 rebounds, while dishing out four assists. In her most recent game, Black scored a team-high 21 points on 10-of-14 shooting and also collected 13 boards. Samson resumes its regular season March 26 against Ceyhan BLD.

Mistie Mims (Bass)
Union Lyon Basket Feminin – France
2012-13 Stats: 19 games, 14.7 PPG, 6.6 RPG, 0.9 APG, 1.3 SPG, 0.2 BPG
After missing the first four games of the season, Mims is the leading scorer for Union Lyon Basket Feminin, averaging 14.7 points for the season. In a recent game, Mims recorded a double-double with 12 points to go along with 12 boards. In her most recent game Sunday, Mims came off the bench to score 12 points, as she finished the game a perfect 6-of-6 from the free throw line. Union Lyon is in sixth place in the France-LFB league.

Alana Beard
TS Wisla Can-Pack Krakow – Poland

After signing to play in Poland, Beard has appeared in just eight games in the Polish league season for the TS Wisla Can-Pack Krakow, while averaging 11.4 points per game. In her fourth game of the Polish League season, Beard scored a game-high 23 points on 8-of-13 shooting from the floor. She ranks fourth on the team in scoring for the polish league season. In the Euroleague, Beard is second on her team in scoring, averaging 15.5 points per game. TS Wisla Can-Pack Krakow was knocked out of the Euroleague playoffs in the first round and is currently playing in the quarterfinal round of the Polish league playoffs.

Monique Currie
CSM Targoviste – Romania

Currie played her first game of the season for Perfumerias Avenida Salamanca in Spain on Jan. 20. In her debut, Currie scored 11 points and grabbed eight boards in a 74-63 win over Rivas Ecopolis.. In the first round of play in the Euroleague playoffs against the Good Angels, Currie netted 15 points to lead her team in scoring. In her most recent Spanish league game, Currie scored 14 points in a 69-45 victory over UNB Obenasa

Sheana Mosch
Flammes Carolo Basket Ardennes ASPTT – France
2012-13 Stats: 14 games, 14.6 PPG, 2.1 RPG, 3.3 APG, 0.9 SPG, 0.1 BPG
Mosch has played in 14 games this season for Charleville, averaging a team-best 14.6 points per game. In a 62-41 win over Toulouse, Mosch scored a game-high 15 points and made three shots from beyond the arc.

Jessica Foley
Townsville Fire – Australia

Playing in her home country of Australia, Foley is the third leading scorer on her team averaging 10.4 points in 20 games played. In the second game of the finals, Foley scored 15 points and made each of the six free throws that she attempted. Townsville lost in the finals to Dandenong R. and Foley’s season is complete.

Carrem Gay

Gay is playing in the France-LFB league with the Toulouse Metropole Basket and is third on the team in scoring, averaging 9.4 points per game. In her most recent game, Gay finished with 15 points on 6-of-8 shooting from the field.

Shay Selby
