2013 Stats: .276 AVG (21-for-76), 7 BB, 1 HR, 12 RBI, 13 Runs, .356 OBP
• Anthes ranks fourth on the Crackers' roster, batting .276 (21-for-76) this summer.
• He leads the squad with six doubles and ranks third on the team with 12 RBI.
• Anthes has had a hit in six of his past 10 games, including three multi-hit games. He has hits in four of his last five contests.
• The Crackers are 14-9 overall and 0.5 games back of the first place Brookhaven Bucks in their division.

Matt Berezo

• Berezo appeared in18 games this summer for the Blue Sox, hitting .212 (14-for-66).

Jordan Betts

• Betts is hitting .244 (21-for-86) this summer and is tied for fourth on the Firebirds roster with 11 runs scored. He is tied for third in home runs (2).
• In a July 21 loss to Falmouth, Betts was 2-for-5 at the plate with a double and two RBI. He has had four multi-hit games over his past 10.
• In the field, Betts owns an .990 fielding percentage at third base with 78 put outs.

Dalton Brown

• Istler has made 10 appearances for the Harbor Hawks this summer, pitching 13.0 innings and posting eight strikeouts.
• In his most recent appearance on July 16, Istler came on to pitch one inning out of the bullpen allowing no runs off one hit and a walk. He posted one strikeout and faced five batters in the frame, earning a no decision.
• The Harbor Hawks have posted a 19-11 mark and are in first place in the West Division.

Remy Janco

New England Collegiate Baseball League (New Bedford Bay Sox)
2013 Stats: 2-1, 3.27 ERA, 9 appearances, 33.0 IP, 23 K, 15 BB, .290 B/AVG
• Janco has appeared in nine games this season for the Bay Sox with five starts and four relief appearances.
• He is ranked tied for third on the Bay Sox roster in strikeouts with 23 and fourth in ERA (3.27).
• In his most recent outing July 19, Janco started the contest against Vermont and allowed two runs, nine hits and one walk while striking out one in 6.0 innings pitched. He earned the win in the contest.

Kenny Koplove

• Koplove appeared in nine games for the Anglers and posted a .296 (8-for-27) average on the season.
• He made a relief appearance on the mound for the Anglers on June 22 where he earned a no decision in one inning.
• He ranks third on the squad with a .406 OBP.

Angelo La Bruna

2013 Stats: .188 AVG (9-for-48), 4 BB, 0 HR, 3 RBI, 8 Runs, .264 OBP
• For the season, La Bruna is batting .188 (9-for-48) for the Firebirds.
• His top performance this summer came against Wareham, where he totaled a 3-for-3 performance with an RBI.
• La Bruna scored in two consecutive contests for the Firebirds over the weekend.

• In his most recent contest, Marconcini was 3-for-6 at the plate with a double and a run scored.
• Marconcini will take part in the Home Run Hitting Contest during the All-Star break Saturday, July 27.

• McCabe is enjoying a strong season for the Bombers, as he is hitting .333 (22-for-66) in 20 games this season. He is tied for third on the Bombers in doubles (4), ranks third with 14 RBI and ranks fifth with 14 runs scored.
• The Bombers have a 16-21 record this season.

Sarkis Ohanian
Sophomore – RHP
Cape Cod League (Hyannis Harbor Hawks)

• Ohanian has appeared in nine games for the Harbor Hawks, pitching 13.1 innings in relief and three saves.
• He has not allowed an earned run this season and ranks second among relievers on the squad in innings pitched.
• Opposing batters are hitting just .136 off Ohanian, ranking second among the Harbor Hawks pitchers.
• In his most recent contest, Ohanian picked up his third save of the season after coming on in relief and pitching 1.1 innings and giving up one hit and posting one strikeout.
• He is scheduled to represent the Western Division in the All-Star Game Saturday, July 27.

Andy Perez

• Perez continues to swing the bat well for the Turks this season with 10 of his 41 hits going for extra bases. He is currently on a four game hitting streak and has hits in eight of his last 10 games.
• On the Turks roster, Perez is first in runs scored (27), second in hits (36), tied for third in doubles (7) and first in walks drawn (23).  In the league, Perez ranks tied for second with 26 walks and his 23 stolen bases are tied for first, while he is tied for fourth with 27 runs scored.
• In a July 17 contest against the Generals, Perez was 2-for-3 at the plate with his third triple of the season, two RBI and two runs scored.
• The Turks are 27-11 and in first place in their division.

Jalen Phillips
Sophomore – INF
Valley Baseball League (Harrisonburg Turks)
2013 Stats: .097 AVG (3-for-31), 4 BB, 0 HR, 2 RBI, 3 Runs, .237 OBP
• Philips has seen action in 18 games this season for the Turks.
• His top performance on the season came against the Staunton Braves, where he was 1-for-3 at the plate with a double, an RBI and two runs scored.

Conner Stevens
Redshirt Sophomore – RHP
Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League (Cincinnati Steam)
2013 Stats: 0-1, 2.32 ERA, 9 appearances, 19.1 IP, 15 K, 4 BB, .227 B/AVG
• Stevens has made nine appearances this season for the Steam, pitching 19.1 innings all in relief. He last pitched July 21 against the Hustlers, giving up no earned runs and one hit in 3.0 innings pitched, while striking out four batters.
• For the season, he owns 15 strikeouts and four walks.
• The Steam are 21-14 and 1.5 games behind the Southern Ohio Copperheads in first place in the standings.

Trent Swart
Sophomore – LHP

2013 Stats: 0-1, 0.00 ERA, 2 appearances, 6.0 IP, 3 K, 0 BB, .250 B/AVG
• Swart has pitched in two contests this season and has not allowed an earned run in 6.0 innings of work.

Drew Van Orden
Junior – RHP
California Collegiate League (Santa Barbara Foresters)
2013 Stats: 5-1, 1.25 ERA, 8 appearances, 43.1 IP, 55 K, 11 BB, .179 B/AVG
• Van Orden has been dominant this summer in the California Collegiate League, making eight starts and earning a 5-1 record. He owns 55 strikeouts in 43.1 innings pitched.
• He owns a team-best 1.25 ERA and a team-high 55 strikeouts in his eight starts compared to 11 walks. Opposing batters are hitting just .179 off of Van Orden, as he owns a 0.92 WHIP.
• He ranks second in the league in wins (5), first in strikeouts (55), while ranking fourth with a 1.25 ERA.
• Van Orden made an appearance in the California Collegiate League All-Star game on July 17. He pitched one inning in the contest and posted one strikeout.
