A native of Montrouge, France, Boutier enters the third round tied for 49th with a 144. She totaled back-to-back bogeys to open the day before playing her final 16 holes at two-under-par with birdies on No. 6, No. 14 and No. 18. Boutier hit 13 fairways and 16 greens on Friday, while missing only five greens over the first two days.
Na Yeon Choi leads the tournament with a 10-under-par, 134. Boutier is one of only four amateurs to make it to the weekend. Fans can watch the British Open live on ESPN2 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday.
