DURHAM, N.C. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association recently released the 2013 ITA All-Academic Teams and Scholar-Athletes list, with Duke’s men’s tennis team receiving both team and individual honors.
In addition to Duke’s men’s tennis team maintaining the required 3.20 grade point average, juniors Bruno Semenzato and Daniel McCall also met the requirements set by ITA to be named 2013 All-Academic Scholar-Athletes. While earning a varsity letter for the 2012-2013 season, the two Blue Devils also maintained a 3.50 GPA and were enrolled at Duke for two semesters.
Duke was just one of three Atlantic Coast Conference schools recognized by the ITA for academic excellence. ACC schools that joined Duke on the list included Florida State, and Virginia Tech.
