VENICE, Fla. – After carding three rounds of even or under par over the last four days, Duke University alumna Lindy Duncan advanced to stage III of LPGA Qualifying School as she finished tied ninth at stage two of qualifying played at the Plantation Golf and Country Club in Venice, Fla.
Duncan, who is a 2013 Duke graduate from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., posted rounds of 73, 72, 68 and 71 for a total of 284, which was four-under-par. Taking home the individual crown was Amy Anderson with a 16-under-par ledger of 272. The top 80 finishers and ties advanced to stage III.
The final qualifying stage will be held Dec. 4-8 at LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Fla.
