DURHAM, N.C. -- Redshirt junior quarterback Anthony Boone was named Ronald McDonald House Charities Student-Athlete of the Week after returning from a three-week injury hiatus to lead Duke past Navy, 35-7, Saturday at Wallace Wade Stadium.
Boone completed 31-of-38 passes for 295 yards and three touchdowns with zero interceptions, setting Duke’s sixth highest single-game mark with a .816 completion percentage. Boone, who suffered a broken collarbone in the Sept. 7 win at Memphis, completed passes to seven different receivers, including touchdown passes of 27 and 18 yards to Issac Blakeney and three yards to Max McCaffrey.
Boone was also named ACC Offensive Back of the Week for his performance.
