DURHAM, N.C. -- Recently, GoDuke.com sat down with senior Jacques Bristow to learn more about the Cherry Hills Village, Colo., native.
GoDuke.com: Name your three favorite things about being a student-athlete at Duke.
Jacques Bristow: Three favorite things would be my teammates. Then second would be having great classes with great professors. Number three would be getting the chance to play football every day.
GoDuke.com: What is your favorite ‘on the field’ memory?
JB: Probably this past weekend against Virginia Tech, or against UNC. Both of them were great. I thought we played our hearts out when it mattered.
GoDuke.com: What is your favorite ‘off the field’ memory?
JB: Just being with my teammates this past summer. I spent some time over at Falls Lake with some of my teammates. We went water skiing and just hung out at the lake. It was really great to be with everyone and bonding.
GoDuke.com: Name three foods you could not live without.
JB: Devil’s Den cornbread, Chipotle burritos and pizza.
GoDuke.com: Name three of your favorite restaurants.
JB: Terreros, Chamas and Carolina Brewery.
GoDuke.com: Name three places you would travel if you could.
JB: I’d probably travel to New Zealand, Indonesia and India.
GoDuke.com: Name three people (dead or alive) you would have dinner with if you could.
JB: I would have dinner with Thomas Jefferson, George Patton and Will Ferrell.
