DURHAM, N.C. – In anticipation of an exciting 2014 season, the Duke baseball program is delighted to host its second annual First Pitch Banquet Saturday, Feb. 8. The Hot Stove style event begins at 5:30 p.m. in Cameron Indoor Stadium’s Hall of Honor.
Attendees have the opportunity to meet current Duke players, while head coach Chris Pollard will preview the upcoming season. Former Blue Devil great and current Oakland A’s first baseman Nate Freiman will serve as the event’s keynote speaker, rounding out the night’s itinerary.
Tickets are currently available via GoDuke.com/tickets. Individual tickets can be purchased for $60, while corporate tables are available for $300.
Duke kicks off the 2014 campaign with a three-game home stand Feb. 14-16 against 2013 American East champion Binghamton. The Blue Devils and the Bearcats square off at Jack Coombs Field.
