Koplove saw the most game action of any Duke freshmen in 2013, starting 45 games at shortstop. The Philadelphia, Pa., native ranked fifth on the team with a .288 batting average while also adding seven doubles, 23 RBI and 23 runs scored. Koplove made his first start at shortstop Feb. 27 at Campbell and belted his first collegiate home run May 10 at No. 7 Virginia.
The Blue Devils are set to open the 2014 season Feb. 14-16 at Jack Coombs Field as Duke hosts 2013 America East champion Binghamton.
