DURHAM, N.C.-Duke University senior attackman Jordan Wolf was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Men’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week as announced by the league office. Wolf totaled 10 points in a 2-0 weekend for the Blue Devils.
Wolf, Duke’s top scorer with 19 points, tallied consecutive hat tricks to lead Duke to a 9-6 win over No. 18 Penn and a 14-6 win over Stony Brook. The native of Wynnewood, Pa., posted his first hat trick of the season and 21st his career as the Blue Devils outlasted the Quakers Friday night. In the win over Stony Brook Sunday, Wolf matched his career-high seven points on four goals and three assists.
In four games this season, Wolf has 10 goals and nine assists. He currently ranks sixth at Duke in career points (220), seventh in career assists (90) and eighth in career goals (130). He has at least one point in 45 straight games and owns 22 career hat tricks.
Duke, 4-0 after the month of February, opens conference play at No. 2/3 Maryland Saturday, March 1. Faceoff is set for 12 p.m., in College Park, Md.
