DURHAM, N.C. – Duke sophomore Katie Dukovich was named to the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) All-South Region first team, and junior teammate Caroline Williams was selected to the second team, the CRCA announced Wednesday.

Dukovich and Williams were both members of Duke’s varsity eight in 2013-14 and powered the boat to a fifth-place finish at the ACC Championships. Those two spent the entire season in Duke’s top boat and helped the Blue Devils crack the CRCA/US Rowing Top 20 Poll in 2014.

The all-region selections were the second for Dukovich and the first for Williams and give the Blue Devils multiple selections to the South squad for the third time in the past four years. Williams’ all-region second team selection comes on the heels of an All-ACC second team award.

Duke has placed at least one rower on the All-South Region squad in four consecutive seasons and earned 23 all-region honors under head coach Robyn Horner.
